About The Film
Everyone is on the lookout for the next miracle drink, pill, food or medicine. “Pariah To Profit: Accepting The Power Of Marijuana” is a documentary film that features the most controversial and the most "talked about" plant in the medical world, marijuana (cannabis).
This documentary film dives into the controversial world of cannabis through the eyes of doctors, medical patients, politicians, dispensaries, families and the public at large. In this film discover why this green leafed plant has re-emerged into the competitive and turbulent world of healthcare.

Meet The Filmmakers

Natec (Linda) Penn
Natec (Linda) has over 25 years experience of audio and video production and regularly teaches her skills to many individuals. She has worked on an array of commercial and educational projects for profit and non-profit organizations, State, County and grant financed productions.

Jesse Tunison
Jesse has been working professionally since 2006 on an array of projects from TV productions to feature films. His wide range of photography
includes marketing materials, magazine covers, and high end portraiture photography. Jesse is also well known for his landscape photography. He is also currently on the board of directors for the Volcano Art Center and Experience Volcano Hawaii.

Daniel Morii
Daniel began his life long journey in the world of documentary filmmaking over 40 years ago. Daniel notably became the producer of the Emmy nominated weekly TV show "Pacific Fusion," which originated in San Fransisco and was syndicated into over 300 markets. From 2013 to 2018 Daniel passionately worked on the film
"Pariah To Profit: Accepting the Power of Marijuana".
In 2018 Daniel was diagnosed with Stage 4 Squamous Cell Carcinoma and passed away. He never saw the completion of this film. Throughout his life Daniel was a passionate advocate for many social-political movements that came to fruition.
It is in that spirit this film was made.
